in one month, on October 7th, we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Captive Culture … during this period, I am going to do several blog posts related to this event sharing some thoughts, pictures and gifts.
in 10 years, I have seen lot of people joining my websites, I saw lot of emails on my screen but, strangely, one of them is written in my memory. I read it so many times than I kept in mind. Regularly, I saw this member renewing his subscription or taking a membership for a new website like Latex Culture the one I did for Dana Carlier. Every time his email appeared in my report, I thought “oh, he’s still a member” considerating his loyalty as something special.
today, I would like to thank this man who loves my photography, supporting my work for seven years without any break. So, I am going to contact Lee to give him a lifetime membership.
No doubt he will be surprised by this gift :) If you are an old member, comment this post because I will distribute three others memberships to some of you … one year for free would be nice, insn’t it ?

I already blogged some of them : Dana fighting with my laptop (click here) and Dana exhausted in the bedroom (click here) … today you are going to watch Dana making funny faces :) I remember that day, we got lot of fun and the cool atmosphere working together was really pleasant, full of jokes, stupid things and laughes. I met lot of girls in 10 years but Dana had some priceless human qualities, enough to keep a nice feeling about our collaboration. I keep in mind all these funny moments we got and I’m happy to share one of them with you today.

beyond the lights … with Mina

You probably remember the session with Mina wearing the latex straitjacket in the garden (click here) : the day after the shooting, I did a blog post featuring three pictures from that day (here if you need a reminder) … I guess you will like to watch the second part of this afternoon.
We were spending a great time outdoor and I decided to continue keeping the nylon pantyhose for having some fun with ropes. It’s the first time I use the tree in the garden for bondage and that’s really interesting. Mina has been bound to the tree for 40 minutes : I can imagine how the right leg was tired in the end. If you read this blog, you know she experienced suspension while being clamped. I like the idea of watching a woman bound to a tree, wearing clothes you can open like the blouse or cut like the pantyhose. In the end, I even removed the left shoe to keep her foot arched to the max. If everything is going well, I hope Suzy will discover the pleasure of being tied to a tree soon … Eskarina lived it two weeks ago and she noticed the contact with the bark makes some good marks on the skin :)

here is another revisited picture of Amélie shot in June 2008 : you probably remember that series using my yellow lighting in the living room (click here if you need a reminder) … we did a nice rope bondage session exploring several positions on the sofa, from glamour bondage to strict shibari. I feel the use of the blindfold gave an extra touch to the whole scene. That picture tells a story for me. Which one for you ?

As you know, the 10th anniversary is approaching … 10 years behind my computers working a lot to please my members. Three days ago, I got a confirmation about my health and it will imply some changes in my life. I had lot of medical issues when I was a child : things have been better after but this year, new problems appeared and we just discovered the cause. I will make it short but I have to inform you about this fact.
My last blood analysis revealed a diabetes (very high level today, nothing six months ago) … diabetes is very common and I know lot of people live properly with that pathology so, I hope to become one of them. For now, I have to change several things in my daily routine, food of course, but also rythm of life. I am addicted to work for 18 years and I have to think about myself before my goals. It’s something new and time is needed before to find the right balance.
It means I am going to spend less time working if I want to fight the illness. Two weeks ago, I used similar words thinking about my eyes (myopia highly increased this summer) but today I know my lifestyle isn’t compatible anymore with my health. The positive thing is my eyes should recover a better state if glycemia decreases (by the way, the myopia problem helped to find the diabetes) : my hope is getting my energy back to shoot and work for you in a better mood than recently. For several months, I had some problems and I didn’t know the reason. At least, today, I know the cause of several things and I can try to fight !
Of course, it doesn’t change anything for Captive Culture which will be updated regularly but I will spend less time editing photo series. Today, I am going to work on the next update including the set with Mina bound in the garden. I hope you will like it :)
