here is a blog post I wrote 2 years ago … you should read it because that’s exactly the post I could write this morning.
It’s time to speak about something I don’t understand. I regularly exchange emails with people willing to know more about the girls, our sessions or the clothes. This blog is daily visited by a good amount of persons and, even so, almost nobody write comments… don’t you have any question ? no opinion to share ? don’t you understand everything would be better if you would be active ? I have sometimes the feeling that’s useless, I mean, why should I keep this blog updated if we don’t share something more interesting than “I show you my work, buy it”. A lot of webmasters killed the community thinking internet audience is nothing more than customers to convert. That’s how we lost the “old school” internet philosophy and everybody ruined a dream. Like in our everyday life, people forgot to say “thank you” “I love it” “that’s cool” “she’s nice” … give a smile to life and share your feelings even if it’s basic comments ! (…) That’s the right attitude to ruin my motivation. Everyday, I tell myself “go on because they love it” but, one day, I will be fed up, I will stop posting free pictures and writing chronicles, adopt the “no clickable thumbnails” method for my websites and, that day, you will loose something cool.
When I wrote this post, people commented for a while but since several monthes, the amount of comments is very low while there are more and more readers. Again, your feedback is important to me …

One month ago, after a photo session, I decided to buy the same gas mask that Amélie brought to our shooting. I tried to search on ebay or military websites but I didn’t find the right stuff. Finally, after a while, I got the chance to find my S10 Gas Mask made by Avon : I don’t love to order online when I don’t know the supplier then I am used to email them asking few questions … it’s a good way to see if the vendor is cool and motivated. And this time, I got a quick and complete reply to my emails : Richard from Latex101 answered to several emails (including the right size for french girls) and sent me two gas masks using premium mail service. I wanted to blog about it for two weeks but I didn’t get the time to shoot a picture before today …

One year ago, I blogged about a young french photographer known as Issue Photography. I didn’t stop to watch her work and tonight, I want to put the light on the last self-portrait she did : no doubt this classy and gorgeous shot will please your eyes ! last week, I heard some news about a new convention dedicated to the art of bondage. KinbaCon : here is the name of this new event organized by passionated people in Ukraine. There are several bondage conventions around the world but this one sounds different to me, probably because of the geographical location. A bondage meeting in Ukraine, here is something unusual … and I like it !
I decided to contact the organizer and, good surprise, he quickly answered. After few emails, I explained him I wouldn’t come due to my planning but the trip would interest my friend Antoine Savalski, a 21 years old rigger I met one year ago after a previous and older contact through phone calls. When I informed Antoine about the launching of KinbaCon, he was enthusiastic. So, naturally, I decided to arrange something cool and I asked to the organizer if he could reserve a warm welcome to my friend … of course, he asked to know more about his work : I sent some pictures taken at the Shibari School and the KinbaCon team decided to give him the opportunity to perform at KinbaCon ! It seems I got a good idea asking Antoine to show his talent at my meeting : it helped to open the doors of KinbaCon :)
So, Antoine will go to Lviv as a proudly member of the Shibari School and I will keep you informed about his trip and experience in Ukraine ! It will help to put the light on the KinbaCon through my fans network and I encourage everybody to do the same. It’s time to speak about bad things … this week, I got some problems to work properly. After 8 years working all the time to produce new images and movies, updating every week, on sunday or when I am sick, your good old friend JG is exhausted. I am tired to work for a lost fight : less and less money, more and more taxes and, last but not least, people repost my pictures. Today, I’ve been informed another good guy reposted all my series on a hacker’s forum. I already gave my opinion about this kind of action : I can understand sharing, I can’t admit people are ready to break your life just because they don’t think about the consequences. That’s exactly the reason why I use a rotation system for the premium images … I was thinking about changing this fact, it seems this kind or problem is a good reason to keep it :( What do you think I feel when I have to work 8 hours alone behind my computer to photoshop edit one set of pictures ? How can I find the motivation if people don’t support my work and try to fuck my business ? Less and less comments, more and more problems. I am sorry but the situation is dangerous : producers need your support and artists need your opinion ! I won’t disturb you more because, sometimes, I feel lot of visitors are just here to watch free pictures like they watch TV, changing channels without thinking about to say “thank you” or “I like this one”. Because some persons never comment or never join the member’s area, I am tired about wasting my energy to update. So, tomorrow, I won’t edit another series because my mood is ruined : I will stop to break my social life because I have updates to do. maybe I will stop all this shit one day. I will be able to shoot pics for my models because my work is appreciated but it will be private sessions only … then my life will become easier but your eyes will loose something good. Stop thinking about money, please support passionate people and good websites before they die !
