again, I didn’t blog about the Captive Culture story since a long time … I need to take more time for this ! Today, I will write about Eve, a french model met in 2002, she was recommended by a friend and without her advice, she would have never worked for me. Eve was used to do fashion and make-up shootings : she had also dreams about becoming an actress. She didn’t know the fetish universe except bad things or urban legends about BDSM games. At this period, my speech was really consensual and the fact I left my serious job one year before our meeting probably helped to make Eve comfortable with my proposition. In the beginning, I only shot her for my latex website which wasn’t online yet and she quickly trusted me enough to try Captive Culture. Unfortunately, Eve stopped modeling in 2005 and she didn’t know my best period for photography : it’s a personal regret because Eve was really nice and she deserved better pictures than the ones produced between 2002 and 2005. Of course, we got lot of cool and funny sessions, I had the chance to make her discover lot of things, from latex clothes to rope bondage. Eve lived unique experiences with others french girls and she was the witness of my production changes, more and more clothes and lot of shooting sessions … but she didn’t get the chance to benefit from the enhancement of my photography :( This is not the reason she stopped modeling : Eve decided to leave the photo and acting universe because she met too many unfair people and that’s a shame because Eve was a really cool girl. She was a talented model and I know she has been really popular on my websites years ago : you wrote lot of comments about her face and eyes and I bet you didn’t forget some shots featured in the slideshow above. Eve was nice enough to become a great bondage model except she wasn’t comfortable with restraint and ropes : we had to reassure her all the time and make her relax when she was bound … I already spoke about the evolution of french girls since I started fetish photography and Eve perfectly illustrates my thoughts. A difference exists between women born before 1980 and girls born after 1982 : being a teenager in the 80’s was really different than being a teenager in the 90’s … I won’t write more about this but I think you see what I mean. In one word, french girls like Eve had to discover and learn to love things like latex or bondage while some others models already knew and loved these kinky things :) That’s probably the most interesting point watching all the photo series we did with Eve : each session was a discovery for her and it’s always nice to see how she lived her personal adventure in front of my camera.

I am used to speak with my fans and I often listen “where do you find your models ?” … there are several ways to meet nice girls for shooting but the real secret is I dismiss average looking women, not for the body, but for the face. To my opinion, the best choice for shooting portrait is choosing women with interesting and/or beautiful faces. Here are some of my captive girls through years … I apologize if I forgot somebody, I quickly browsed my collection and only selected pictures from my bondage website. tomorrow will be the 8th anniversary for the captiveculture opening … eight years, I never imagined this adventure could be so long. I did so many pictures and spent so much time working on my image editing. I remember my thoughts when I started my website : I wanted to make my own pictures, trying to share my vision about bdsm games … and that’s what I do since 8 years now. More than 330 complete series have been added to the member’s area and the site changed a lot. that’s a long time I didn’t write about one of my models. after my muses and Mina, that’s time to speak about Amélie who started modeling for me in 2006. I am not sure about it but I think Amélie has been recommended by Virginie Notte the french pin-up photographer. Amélie was already her favorite models and I was really interested to shoot that classy brunette. I always loved how Amélie looks on pictures : she’s elegant and natural ; I’ve seen a lot of nice girls in my life but there are not a lot of women able to express what Amélie gives. I think you’ll be agree with me, even when she is strictly bound, she doesn’t look really kinky. She appears like a Damsel in Distress to me, elegant woman without vulgarity trapped in a glamour situation. That’s probably why Amélie looks really great for pin-up photographies : her style and her allure are really efficient. Amélie started to work with me when I began to change my photo style due to the Anaïs influence : even she doesn’t love everything we shoot at Captive Culture, she decided to try the adventure after a screen and bondage test. Some of my regular models did an awful screen test, I can say Amélie didn’t. I should publish some of these pictures one day, she was already compatible with my requirements : lovely face, nice body, great legs and good modeling skills. Last but not least, and that’s one reason I love to shoot her, Amélie is a cool lady : she is sensitive, honnest and professional. In the past, I met several models who think about a possible career when they should think about another job. Most of them think they are naturally beautiful and they are simply wrong ; most of these models look average outside the spotlights and need make-up and sexy lingerie to look attractive. Amélie is one of the rare models I see sometimes during friendly parties and she doesn’t need to act like an artificial star to be nice. Probably because her mind is well structured. Maybe because she’s simply thinking about something else than her bum or her make-up :) You understood it, I have a good opinion about Amélie and I’m happy to shoot more cool pictures for her collection. I will think about future sessions featuring things she deeply loves : stockings, corset, heels, lingerie, rope bondage … and cats :) maybe we should do a pin-up session with a cat one day ? No, I won’t speak about your fat cat Miss … oooops, I did it LOL thank you !
